A Spirit of Gratitude, It’s How We Overcome The Trials

I give thanks to the Lord at all times. How do we rule-familyovercome the trials and circumstances of life? I can personally testify that by always having a spirit of gratitude. It’s so easy to get caught up in the worries of life and adversity. Choosing and deciding to be thankful everyday takes faith and discipline. It’s having enough faith to know God is in control and He sits on His throne. This way of thinking and believing has saved our family many times. Being thankful at all times continues to give me the peace and strength to keep running the race of life. It’s knowing that no matter what happens everything is going to be alright, because God loves me.

Thank you Lord…

John: “for my family and the provisions He has granted us in 2016. The wisdom to continue to care for so many children.”

Tanya: “for granting me the ability to be a mother of many precious children. Including those that have entered my life and left.”

David: “Family, love, animals, and my salvation in Christ.”

Gabby: “My family and the ability to read books.” Reading so many books has recently inspired me to become a writer. I wrote my first poem several weeks ago titled ‘Reading’: “Reading is a thing that only a few enjoy to do. Reading something boring can’t compare to reading something exciting and new. Some reading can be serious, while some can make you laugh. It doesn’t matter if it’s a long book or just a short paragraph. To tell you the truth, even if it sounds odd, reading is a gift from God.”

Esperanza: “for having a bunch of kitties.”

Jhorleny: “I’m grateful for everything that has happened to me this year and for the people that sponsor me.”

Alexa: “God has given me a family in whom I trust and has been with me through difficult times.”

Raquel: “For my life, family, food, and good dreams.”

Sergio: “I always wanted to be in a family and after 18 years I finally have one.”

Sergio: “I always wanted to be in a family and after 18 years I finally have one. I’m thankful for the big turkey leg I ate for the first time on Thanksgiving Day. Lastly, for my life.”

Marcos: “I’m thankful for my family. For my brothers, sisters, and for having a good mother. Lastly, for my home.”

Diego: “I’m happy because I have a family with brothers, sisters, and live in a beautiful home. I’m thankful I have a mom and dad. Lastly, for having a Christmas Tree.”

Emilio: “I’m happy I have a mom and dad. I’m thankful for my Christmas Tree and for my home.”

Rebekah: “for everything.”

Thankful always,
