Preparing for the Mission Field

A few of you have asked us recently when we will be in Guatemala. Well that depends on 2 things right now.

If you’re not signed-up for our newsletter, you’re missing some of the details to our story!

For the last couple of months we have been downsizing and raising support as we prepare to move to Guatemala. We really wanted to be there already, we miss the kids at Hope of Life, and we know the sooner they have parents to raise them, the better off they’ll be.

They are growing up fast without the vital connection of a family. We believe God wants something more for them.

In January I herniated a disc in my lower back. The pain I went through for several weeks was awful, 9 out of 10.

A surgeon wanted to operate but allowed me to take some time to explore non-invasive options. I have been doing an amazing chiropractic therapy called Cox Flexion that is proving extremely helpful though it is amazingly simple. It has brought me great relief. I believe I may be avoiding surgery as a result.

So, when are we leaving for Guatemala? As soon as our support is in and my back is good to go.
